- Timed ticket reservations are required for entry.
- No refunds, exchanges or date transfers will be provided.
- The Zoo will close 1 hour and 45 minutes after the last ticket entry time.

Colorado Backyard features indoor play structures, live animals, a virtual reality experience, and a rotating exhibit area.
Beekeeping Bootcamp
Typically held on Saturdays, Butterfly Pavilion beekeeping experts and other beginner beekeepers, develop the skills necessary to achieve thriving beehives.
Beekeeping Bootcamp is taught by a qualified beginning beekeeper class instructor through the Colorado State Beekeeping Association (CSBA)!
Butterfly Pavilion Free Days
The Butterfly Pavilion is free every Tuesday but timed-entry tickets are required. These tickets are available only at the Ticket Desk located on the second floor outside of the entrance to the Butterfly Pavilion.
Tickets are available beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesdays. The Pavilion opens at 10:15 a.m., and the final entry is at 5:00 p.m.
Pavilion capacity is limited; it is advisable to come early to secure tickets.

Tickets can be purchased online or in person at the National Museum of Natural History.
